Return to Church: Plans and Policies

Your choice to attend service is voluntary. Please know that we continue to livestream all of our weekend services and you can continue to engage with our community online. We are here to serve and minister to you, whether you join us in person or online.

WELCOME BACK!

We are glad to be gathering together again in person as a church family to worship Jesus! Our weekend worship services times:

  • Saturday 5pm

  • Sunday 8:30am (65+ and/or at risk)

  • Sunday 10am

  • Sunday 11:30am

Our Sunday 8:30am service is specifically designed for those who are 65+ and/or those who may be more at risk in their health. If you aren’t in these categories or if you have children, please consider attending a different service time.

If you don’t feel comfortable coming back to church yet, each of these services will also continue to be streamed live online via Facebook, YouTube, and www.thecause.tv. Our Team is ready to connect with you and minister to you as part of our online community.

Should you attend a worship service in-person?

If you answered “yes” to any of the self-evaluation questions, we ask that you participate virtually by watching our live stream for the following two weeks. Those that are 65+ and/or those with serious underlying health conditions should consider to continue participating online for this season.

How to Prepare to Attend (“Should I attend a worship service in-person?”)

  • Please use the restroom prior to arriving at the church building.

  • During this season, there will be no childcare or children’s ministry. Children who attend the service will sit with their parents in the Sanctuary.

  • Please carefully supervise children out of respect to others.

  • Please wear a face mask out of consideration for others. New face masks will be available upon entry. Staff and Team Members (volunteers) are strongly encouraged to wear face masks.

  • Please abide by social distancing.

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available upon entry.

  • Chairs will be in clusters to maintain social distancing and allow you to sit with your household. Please follow usher instructions on seating.

  • The premises are sanitized, and for your added safety we will direct you in and out of the facility to promote minimum contact.

  • We encourage you to launder face masks and clothing after attending the service.

FROM “STREET TO SEAT”:

A “TOUCHLESS” WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

Our facility is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the week using proper chemicals and disinfectants recommended by the CDC in order to provide a safe and healthy environment. During our weekend services, you’ll see several of our Staff and Team Members actively cleaning the Sanctuary, restrooms, and high traffic areas.

During this season, our worship gatherings will look a little different in order to adhere to government-recommended safety and health care practices. We will provide a “touchless service” in which your own seat is the only thing you have to make physical contact with during your visit. This includes:

  • Greeters will welcome you with a smile and a wave, but will not pass out any literature or hugs.

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available at entrances.

  • Seating capacity will be reduced in order to accommodate social distancing.

  • Seats will be placed in clusters (with a 6 foot radius around each one) so that household units can sit together. Our Usher Team will help direct you to your seats.

  • All doors in the facility, except restroom doors, will be propped open and trash can lids will be removed.

  • During the “greeting” time in the service, you’ll be invited to greet only those you came with and wave at your neighbors in other seat clusters.

  • No offering (popcorn) buckets will be passed.

  • For your added safety we will direct you in and out of the facility to promote minimum contact.

Some other changes to our worship experience include:

  • The length of each service will be shorter to allow for adequate cleaning before the next service.

  • Children will sit with their parents. We won’t provide children’s ministry or childcare at this time. But as you enter, we’ll offer a bag to each child to help keep them engaged, and we’ll have a special kids segment during our service experience. Please carefully supervise your children out of respect to others. Children should be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Exercise Best Sanitation Practices, including:

By attending, you agree and understand that:

  • You are in a public setting with other individuals that are not related to you. As in any other public setting, there is a risk to be away from your home. Your participation is purely voluntary.

  • We have taken enhanced health and safety measures. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting The Cause Church you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Help keep each other healthy.
